Storytelling has been one of my passions since I started writing for my high school newspaper as a sophomore. Since those early days, I have grown to appreciate the value of images and videos and the power of media — traditional, digital and social.

My background is in journalism, having worked on newspaper and magazine staffs, and public relations and marketing from my time as a communication specialist for Iowa State’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication. As a young professional, I mostly worked in the public relations and marketing realm, but rely heavily on my journalism training.

Wherever I’m employed my mission to use my storytelling abilities to inform and inspire others remains the same. After a three month excursion across the west coast last fall, I landed back in Omaha, Nebraska, and am always in pursuit of opportunities to tell the stories of people, places and things that are working for good and making a difference. Don’t hesitate to contact me if there’s a story I can assist you in telling.
